The 87 Regular Recruits Intake is for Non-Tradesmen & Women and this different from the Nigerian Army Direct Service Short Course[DSSC]. The application portal has been activated and those who meet the requirements which will be outlined below.
The SSC application is open to both civilians and serving military personnel according to the information provided on the application portal, only serving military personnel sponsored to civil institutions by any of the Services of the Armed Forces shall be considered.
When Will The Nigerian Army Recruitment Application Portal Be Activated?

Eligibility For The Nigerian Army 2024/2025 SSC Recruitment Exercise
To be eligible to take part in the Nigerian Army recruitment exercise, applicants ought to meet the following criteria’s:
- Must be a Nigerian citizen with a valid means of identification[NIN/BVN]
- Applicant must be single at the time of applying
- Must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit
- Possess a minimum of four passes in not more than two sittings in WASCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB
- Must be endorsed by the National Population Commission
- Must be within the age of 23-27
- NYSC discharge certificate or a valid certificate of exemption
- Must be atleast 1.65m tall for male and 1.68m tall for female applicants
- Must possess a valid certificate of state of origin

- Create an account immediately
- Login to the portal
