The Nigerian Airforce recruitment application form is yet to be released or published online but before the next recruitment exercise commences, interested persons are urged to take proper note of the information provided here.
There are different categories of NAF recruitment and it is important we give a brief note of what the BMTC recruitment is all about because there are a lot of applicants who are confused. The Basic Military Training Course(BMTC) is a short period of training for Airmen & Airwomen and this training does not last for more than six(6) months. BMTC is for those who possess SSCE/ND/NABTEB/City & Guild Certificate and Trade Test Certificate.
Nigerian Airforce 2024/2025 BMTC Application Guidelines
Interested applicants should all follow the appropriate steps when applying for BMTC recruitment. All applicants should apply by following the procedures below:
- Visit the Nigerian Airforce recruitment portal nafrecruitment.airforce.mil.ng
- Select the recruitment you are applying for(DSSC /Airwomen& Airmen)
- Fill the form
- Upload your credentials and other required documents
- Submit once you are done.
Applicants should print out the following documents: Local Government Indigeneship Form, Attestation Form to be signed by a Military Officer or Local Government Chairman of the Applicant, Parent/Guardian Consent Form, and Acknowledgment Form.

Eligibility For Nigerian Airforce 2024/2025 Recruitment
Applicants must meet the requirements below to be eligible for the next recruitment exercise:
| Minimum & Maximum Age requirements | 18 and 25 except for assistant chaplains, assistant imams, and drivers(18 and28) |
| Nationality | Nigerian by birth |
| Minimum Academic Requirements | 5 credits in SSCE/NECO/GCE/NABTEB in not more than two (2)sittings |
| Extra Requirements | Physical and Medical Fitness, Free from any form of conviction |
| Specific Requirements for drivers | Minimum of 2 passes in SSCE/ NECO/GCE/NABTEB, with a credit in English and Trade Test Certificate |
| Specific Requirements for sportsmen/women | Evidence of experience, and this includes certificates and medals. |
The NAF Application portal will be activated from August 21, 2024 and closed on October 02, 2024 so interested persons are urged to submit their application before then.
